We believe our community deserves access to world-class health care and the tools to live a healthy lifestyle. That’s why the Lima Memorial Foundation takes an active role in advancing the health of our community through philanthropy. When you contribute to the Lima Memorial Foundation, you’re making an investment in the health of your family, friends and neighbors. Your gift helps Lima Memorial Health System continue to provide outstanding health care as community health needs evolve.

Over the years, the Foundation has been the catalyst for bringing revolutionary technology and enhancements to the Lima community.  Most recently, in 2014, the Foundation contributed the funds needed to purchase the da Vinci® surgical robot. A leader surgical robotic care, Lima Memorial responded quickly to the overwhelming demand for these services as it considered purchasing a second robot. In 2015, the Lima Memorial Foundation invested the needed $1.8 million to purchase a second da Vinci® robot surgical system. This investment resulted in greater access to care and was a key factor in recruiting top-notch surgeons to our medical community.

Even as Lima Memorial ranked top in the nation for infection prevention, the health system wanted to raise the bar even higher. Through community support, the Lima Memorial Foundation provided the funding needed to purchase two Tru-D SmartUVC disinfecting robots. This innovative technology effectively eliminates all germs and provides for a safe, germ-free environment.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to provide comprehensive health services and improve the quality of life in our community. We invite you to join us on our journey to continue to shape the future of health care in our region. The gift you give now will make a difference in the care we deliver in the future. Together, we will continue to advance the health of our great community.
